Meet the Owner

Scott Lamon, founder and owner of Tynic Landscaping, has spent his career shaping the green industry in Massachusetts. A graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass Amherst with a degree in Turfgrass Management, Scott combines technical expertise with a passion for beautiful, well-built landscapes giving him the knowledge to navigate complex projects with confidence. From residential backyards to large commercial builds, Scott ensures the team at Tynic Landscaping completes every project to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Bringing over 22 years of landscape experience to his role as a dedicated Sales and Landscape Designer at Tynic Landscaping, Brian specializes in the creation of complete landscape and sophisticated outdoor living space designs. He prides himself on managing projects from the initial “pencil to completion,” ensuring a seamless transition from the drawing board to the final, breathtaking installation.

Above all, he strives to exceed all customer expectations and believes strongly in bringing customers closer to nature, delivering personalized outdoor environments that clients can cherish for years to come.

Outside of work, Brian taps into his creative side as a guitarist in a local garage band and makes it a goal to attend as many concerts as he can every year.

My career in the green industry began at an arborvitae farm and nursery, where I managed customer sales and design, along with daily plant health and nursery operations. From there, I moved into a crew leader role with a landscaping company, where I spent six years overseeing enhancement projects, planting, mulching, pruning, snow-removal operations, design work, and gaining experience in irrigation.

I later transitioned into management at a large landscape maintenance and construction firm. I initially served as an Account Manager for a portfolio of commercial clients before quickly advancing to Branch Manager. In that role, I led a successful commercial grounds maintenance and snow and ice management division—training and overseeing crews, managing client relationships, driving sales and upsells, and coordinating all daily operations.

Today, I am proud to serve as the Sales Account Manager for Tynic Landscaping. Since joining the company in April 2025, I have been responsible for all aspects of sales and estimating, while continuing to grow both professionally and personally alongside the company.

Outside of work, I’m excited to be planning my upcoming wedding and looking forward to an incredible year ahead—both in my personal life and in my career

Stacy has been in the landscape industry for almost 30 years and is going on her fourth year at Tynic Landscaping. With the landscape industry having so much to offer, she has always tried to learn as much as she can. Stacy has a vast knowledge of many different aspects within the industry.

Her specialties include plants, pruning, seasonal color and landscape design. Stacy has managed multiple divisions at Tynic including Maintenance, Construction and Snow and is currently managing the Enhancements division.

When Stacy is not at Tynic, she enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters, camping, hiking and kayaking.

I am the Manager for the Maintenance Division here at Tynic Landscaping. I am in charge of all the mowing, Spring cleanups, and Fall cleanups. So if you have questions concerning anything mowing I’m your guy. Of course, I can assist you with any other questions you may have, but mowing is my specialty.

I grew up in a moderate size town on the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. I enjoy fishing, even more now that I can ocean fish and river fish. I also enjoy Football, movies, and visiting my family back in the Midwest.
I started at Tynic 4 years ago and love being a part of the Tynic family. I started at the bottom and proudly worked my way to the position I am currently in. In doing so, quality is my number 1 priority.

I look forward to working with you in the future and am excited to accommodate your landscaping needs.

virginia schwarzenbach

Virginia joined Tynic Landscaping in 2020 as Office Manager and later served as Chief Operating Officer before retiring from her full-time position in April 2025.

She now supports the company on special projects, bringing strong expertise in finance, strategy, and standard operating procedures.

Outside of work, Virginia enjoys hiking local trails, cruising back roads, and visiting botanical gardens, always finding renewal in the beauty of the outdoors.
